WATCH THE WORLD THROUGH MY EYES

WATCH THE WORLD THROUGH MY EYES
THINKING EPIPHANY NUMBER 1 : ever wonder how the simplest things came to be? Why there are stars in the sky. Why trees can grow. Why love hurts when you haven't been physically cut. Why you work so hard and yet are unsuccessful? Well there isn't the greatest answer for them. Some have come to believe that God has made all this happen. Others have resorted to the scientific study where there is always proof of why something is happening. Me on the other hand I'd like to believe that fate exists and everything happens for a reason. And sometimes if you wait for something it'll come to you. But in reality, through my experience; sometimes there's no such thing as fate. You have to be the one in control. You're the one who will make things happen for yourself. If you studied and yet failed a test what's the reason? I would conclude that you studied but you didn't study full heartedly. There are always distractions in life. If you dedicated your whole heart and gave your mind and soul to a relationship with another person, yet it still failed what's the reason? Fate would say maybe things like that weren't meant to be. I on the other hand may come to the conclusion that the relationship wasn't built on truth, friendship or love. It was built on lies, or infatuation, or security. Sometimes life makes me wonder about things that I might or should I say I probably don't have the answers to. But it's nice to ponder about why things happen once in a while.

THINKING EPIPHANY NUMBER 2 : Friends are one of the most important people in your life. I know I know sometimes people might say that family always come first, but friends are a close second. Friends are the people who influence you the most and are the people who mold you into who are you today. You might say well some friends are backstabbers or they're liar and so on. But can you honestly say that you have never had one fun moment, one great time hanging out with them or just liking something of their personality? The reality to me is that even friends who backstabbed you or friends who lied have influenced you in some way. And during the time you had together, they were good people to you. People who cared, people who had a good time with you. That's why you shouldn't hold grudges against people for life. Because you spend all your time concentrating on how much you hate them when life is passing you by. You spend your time wondering why you were ever friends with them, when you know why. Their first impression was a nice person and you wanted to know them better. There's always a reason why people do the things they do, especially if they end up lying to you or backstabbing you. Whether it's a good reason, I don't know. That part is up to you.

THINKING EPIPHANY NUMBER 3: What makes humans so incapable of love?Or at least the struggle with love. This my answer: If we want to love someone, we need to open up and let people know us. Vice versa. If we want to love someone, we need them to open up and let us know them. Even with the most important people in our lives, we share little about our true feelings, beliefs, or secrets. One may conclude that this is because we want to be loved so badly, that we present ourselves as some person we think will be accepted in society. In doing this we hide the things we think would damage our image. People go though life everyday doing this. Pretending to be someone else, in fear that their own personality and character will be disliked by others. Most of us practice concealing our identiy, by playing roles to the extent that we lost the ability of self awarement. We claim to have feelings and thoughts when in reality we dont. Why you say? Because it is in human nature. Humans fear change. This is because change is a frightening thing and we want to believe that our desires, needs, goals, morals, values, feelings are "constant" when in reality they change as we grow older and mature. My solution? The key is to to be honest and to build a self confidence about your self image. This way, you will not be brought down by what society thinks. Feelings are very important. They are one of the only things we can express as "our own". Identify your feelings and accept them as an important part of yourself. Try to avoid supressiong yourself and in my opinion, life may be better.

STILL THINKING...

Need some advice?

Need some advice?
I can't gaurantee that it'll work for you, but hey i learned through these experiences

1) Don't rely all your happiness on someone else. You're bound to be disappointed.

2) Hardwork doesn't always pay off. Consistent hardwork does.

3) There is never a easy way out. If you take that route, there's always a bigger
problem that needs to be dealt with.

4) Don't lie to your best friends. They can tell.

5) True friends always stay in touch. Even if they r millions of miles away (mada snif)

6) A little bit of time is better spent with someone then spending all the time in the world by yourself.

7) Parents discipline you, not because they hate you, but because they want you to grow up better than that.

8) Don't do the opposite of what you say. The last thing you need is to be called a hyprocrite.

9) "stay in school cuz its cool" ... uh no. Stay in school because then you have better chances of not being a bum on the street.

10)Getting out of the city really does make you feel better. But you can't run away from your problems because they'll eventually catch up with you.

11)Don't spend your time worrying about what certain people think. Most likely those people are super self conscious and they don't know how to deal with others talking about them, so they live a life of gossiping and talking about others.

12) First impressions are very important. They may decide your future job.

13) Afraid of disappointment? Don't have expectations.

14) You most certainly can close ur eyes to things you do not want to see. But sometimes it is impossible to close your heart to things you don't want to feel.

MORE TO COME...

Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai
The Bond Girl!

Born in the small sleepy town of Mangalore in Karnataka, on November 1, 1973, Gullu as she is fondly called, made India proud when she won the Miss World title in 1994. Aishwarya Rai hasn't looked back since. Life was not an easy joyride for this green-eyed beauty. First few flop movies and a much-publicized traumatic affair didn't paralyze her. She took on everything in her stride and rose higher. She is the first Indian actress to be on the jury of the Cannes International Film Festival and the first actress and performer from India to be featured on the cover of Time magazine. Since 1999 she has been the ambassador for Longiness watches. A merit student in school, Aishwarya had her heart set on 'medicine.' But destiny wanted it otherwise. She chose Architecture but when she began receiving overwhelming modeling assignments, she decided to concentrate on them. She got noticed in ads for Pepsi and L'Oreal (the only indian woman ever featured in those ads!!!) . Winning the Miss world crown proved a gateway into Bollywood. Her performance in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, stunned audiences. For the first time, Aishwarya showed off her acting prowess and it took all by surprise. She was no longer considered a glamour doll with twinkling eyes. But this was just the beginning and there was lots more to come. She bagged a parallel role opposite 'Meryl Streep' in French director Coline Serreau's Chaos. She is now all set to put foot into Hollywood. She is the only Indian woman in world's Top 10 most good-looking women.

Her short span in Bollywood has won her many awards.

* Awards of the International Indian Film Academy: Popular Award - Actress in a Leading Role, Devdas(2003)
* Filmfare Awards: Best Actress, Devdas(2003)

She still has a long way to go...but she is my favourite actress, role model and she is just amazing!
